Artist Statement: "Best Friends" captures the love and loyalty shared between my son, Coleman, and our Golden Retriever, Blaster.

Materials & Techniques: Made with commercial cottons and hand-painted (by artist) cottons; thread-painted by artist. Both machine and hand quilted. The original design is from a photo I took specifically for the quilt in 2009.
