Artist Statement: I created this quilt by using the bill and eye of the toucan to create the illusion of a group of toucans hiding in among the leaves.  This requires the eyes of the viewer to be "perceptive."

Materials & Techniques: Commercial cotton fabrics, fusing applique, machine quilted, couched threads.
