Artist Statement: It was 3 o'clock in the morning and the moon over Vancouver Island woke me. It was the first evening of an Alaskan cruise. A beautiful beginning and a lasting memory.

Materials & Techniques:  Commercial cotton fabric, raw edge. Rows sewn to canvas and cotton backing.
