Artist Statement: In this scroll an indecipherable text is encoded in these handprinted designs. The Asian influence is in part from my studio's location near the International District.

Materials & Techniques: Silk, cotton, linen and assorted fabrics. Intaglio and relief printing (using a printing press) and screen-printing. Machine pieced and quilted.
