Artist Statement: People have many layers. I believe that if you dig deep enough, you will find a heart of gold in each of us. Sometimes you really have to pull those layers apart to find it!

Materials & Techniques: Commercial solid cotton fabrics, hand-painted; foil; fused appliqué; machine pieced and machine quilted.
