Artist Statement: I love the colors and the red and gold glow of leaves in the forests of Western Washington. This quilt is based on a photograph I took at Lake Cushman in October of 2008.

Materials & Techniques: Commercial and hand dyed cottons, batik, tulle. Raw edged and fused appliqué.
