Melisse Lang - Seeing the LightArtist Statement: When I received an invitation from Nancy Crow to participate in "Color Improvisations," the first international juried exhibition of quilts no smaller than 6 feet square, I designed two of the biggest quilts I'd ever made. I made several attempts before "Seeing the Light," this one worked.
