Artist Statement: In this new quilt, which is made of hand-dyed silk fabrics, I combined patchwork elements, such as the drunkard's path block, half-square triangles, squares and circles, with a randomly pieced background. Freed from the strict geometry of traditional quilt making, they appear to float and shift. 

Materials & Techniques: Made from hand-dyed silk fabrics, cotton interfacing, cotton batting, cotton backing, and silk and cotton threads. Machine pieced, hand-appliqued, and free-motion machine quilted on a domestic sewing machine.
