Artist Statement: Starting with desert memories from Joshua Tree National Monument in California, I constructed abstract shapes with interesting color relationships. "Terwilliger Curves" seems to express the ambiguity of the forms.

Materials & Techniques: Cotton fabrics, hand-dyes and commercial; cotton and rayon threads. Raw-edge appliqué and fusing, machine quilting.
