Artist Statement: I have only found the lovely tiny red Cliff Penstemon when hiking in the Pacific Northwest Mountains in August.  This flower reminds me to find my niche, persevere, and shine with nifty color.

Materials & Techniques: Materials: Cotton fabrics hand dyed. Threads rayon and cotton. Techniques: Machine piecing and quilting, stuffing, hand sewing to attach sections quilted separately, dye and ink pens.
