Artist Statement: An opening in the earth is the Caldera. Would this be the beginning or the end?

Materials & Techniques: Shibori stitched, dyed by flowing color along the stitch lines. Some of the shibori stitching has been retained with machine quilting added to enhance the contours of the land.
