Artist Statement: My intention with this piece was to create a kind of contemporary sampler, incorporating drawing, painting, piecing, and hand stitching.

Materials & Techniques: Wool felt, embroidery threads, muslin, paint, pens. Hand pieced wool felt, portrait drawn on muslin, painted and fused to background, hand stitched.
