Artist Statement: Hiding in the shadows and shapes of the forest. Aspen leaves whisper in the breeze. Whispering their meditation to all who will listen, telling us to slow down, take a deep breath, and enjoy the color, shape, pattern, and texture of the beauty around us.

Materials & Techniques: Cotton, batiks, and hand-dyed fabrics, fused direct edge applique, warm & white 100% cotton batting, machine quilted with variegated thread.
