Artist Statement: Seattle has some grey and rainy days, but we all know there’s a light at the end of the rainbow. After the rain leaves the rainbow shines down on the city leaving shards of light filtering through our rainbow city, The showers leave everything shiny and bright with the birds whistling a happy tune.

Materials & Techniques: Raw edge applique, misty fuse, Shiva Artist's oil paint sticks. Trapunto and free motion machine quilting. Rainbow sheer overlay and stitched over the buildings.
