Artist Statement: The Seattle climate welcomes people and plants from around the world.  This piece was dyed with garden plants and autumn leaves collected from Seattle sidewalks.

Materials & Techniques: Cotton Mordanted with Alum and Iron.  Bundle-dyed with plant materials (goldenrod, ash, gingko, poplar, sumac,oak,crabapple) and plant extracts (madder and Himalayan Rhubarb).
