Artist Statement: While teaching my newly purchased sewing machine my tricks and in turn learning its little quirks, we created this piece together. We discovered we play well together.

Materials & Techniques: Commercial cotton and silk fabric. Decorative thread, free motion machine lace, beads, hot fix crystals. Raw edge appliqué, free motion machine quilting, manipulated machine embroidery.
