Artist Statement: The Pantanal in Brazil is the largest tropical wetland in the world and it's grasslands are submerged in water half the year. Traveling there in 2017, I was enveloped by the foliage, the beautiful sunsets, flora and fauna.

Materials & Techniques: hand-dyed and commercial fabrics machined pieced and quilted. cotton fabrics used throughout
