Artist Statement: I have been inspired by the quote “Be Kind. Always.” that the actor/comedian Robin Williams often mentioned. While creating this quilt, I was also moved to write a song to pass this message on to my children and grandchildren. I have included the song music on the back of the quilt.

Materials & Techniques: Commercial cottons (mostly Marcia Derse Windham fabrics) and cotton threads. Machine pieced and quilted on a traditional Bernina sewing machine.
