Artist Statement: Originally inspired by the paintings of Sean Scully, this piece evolved into something uniquely my own. The small pieced areas break up the large scale of the stripes.

Materials & Techniques: Cotton sateen hand-dyed by the artist. Machine pieced and quilted.
