Artist Statement: What could be more life affirming than a beautiful little nest full of eggs? The making of this piece gave me many "glad-heart" days, a time of healing.

Materials & Techniques: Hand-dyed and commercial cottons, vintage kimono silk, cotton ravelings, scrim, jute, lichens, acrylic paint, fabric-dye pens,stamps. Piecing, raw-edge appliqué, painting, stamping, free-motion machine quilting.
