Artist Statement: After living in Alaska for more than 30 years, the thing that impresses me the most about the Pacific Northwest is the abundance of trees. "Tangle" is my series of quilts inspired by the shapes and colors of the local vegetation.

Materials & Techniques: Commercial fabrics, hand-dyed cottons by the artist. Machine pieced. Machine quilted.
