Artist Statement: A labyrinth is a continuous looping journey without doubling back. Labyrinths are an activity for reflection and calming. Their symmetry and beauty are intriguing. In Bandon Oregon, Circles in the Sand draws labyrinths at low tide in the summer. Watching its creation from the bluff then walking through it is a magical morning.

Materials & Techniques: Cotton fabric and threads. I used freezer paper as the pattern template.
