Artist Statement: I am interested in exploring the relationships of curved lines and shapes while direct piecing quilts and combining colors in an exciting manner. I dye my own cotton fabrics to achieve the results I want; it is a continuous experiment and surprise. I like the challenge of using repetition in my designs in different ways. I challenged myself in "FIRE" to increase surface interest in the color ranges I selected.
