Artist Statement: I was born in a year of the dragon, and cats are my very favorite animal, so when I saw this batik panel, I knew I had to use it shomehow in a quilt.

Dimensions: 31" wide x 31" high

Materials and Techniques: This quilt is pieced from just two fabrics, one a hand batiked panel, the other a beautiful piece of hand dyed cotton by Judy Robertson. Both peices were almost "too good" to cut up, but the sum of the parts is greater still.
