Artist Statement: After spending hours marbling on fabric, I was left with many small pieces of colorful artwork. I cut them apart, pieced them together, and formed a long section of variegated blue. It just whispered the beauty of a secluded waterfall.

Materials & Techniques: Materials: hand-marbled fabric, commercial batiks, rayon/polyester threads, wool batting. Techniques: marbling on fabric, piecing, applique, machine quilting
