Artist Statement: When I think of sun rays, I think of those times when the light truly is divided, like the petals of the flower: divided by trees, by clouds, by other things casting shadows. With this quilt, I pictured sunlight filtered by trees, illuminated by motes, searching for the forest floor. Sun Rays.
