Artist Statement: This hand-dyed whole-cloth piece reminded me of the fabulousCaverns of Nerja in Andalusia, Spain. The incredible stalactites and stalagmites glowed with multicolored lights in this geologic wonder.

Materials & Techniques: Hand-dyed and over-dyed with snow 100% cotton. Dense free-hand machine quilting with a variety of types and colors of thread.
