Artist Statement:  One of a series of Orcas Island wildflower quilts made from personal photographs.  Small-flowered Blue-eyed Marys often grow in wet areas with Chickweed Monkeyflowers.

Materials & Techniques:  Design created from photograph.  Fused appliqué using commercial cottons.  Thread painted with rayon onto cotton duck.  Quilted with cotton thread.  Satin-stitch binding.
