Artist Statement: Although, the basic inspiration came from the old Italian expression "Dolce far Nienteâ", which means pleasant idleness or "sweet doing nothing", the mellow mood of soft white-on-white fabrics made my mind quickly trail off into peaceful memories of loving days of honeymoon.

Materials & Techniques: Fabrics include: variety of silks, cottons, linen, cotton lame and organza, reclaimed silk from a wedding dress. Hand embroidered, French knots, hand and machine quilted
