Artist Statement: While most of my inspiration comes from the Pacific Northwest, I am also drawn to familiar scenes reminiscent of my younger years growing up on the east coast. I find covered bridges charming and a step into the past. My work has evolved and improved since 2016 when I first began making art quilts, but nature continues to be my source of inspiration. 

Materials & Techniques: Fusible applique and collage. Additional detail and texture added during the quilting process.
