CQA was founded in 1986 by a group of artists, educators and textile industry members led by Lorraine Torrence.  Over the past 25 years, members have had monthly meetings that provide continuing education in all aspects of art design.  We are celebrating our organization by a special display in the Pacific West Quilt Show at the Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center August 26-28, 2011.  This show illustrates the broad range of our members' artistic expressions.
