Artist Statement: Little did I know what was coming when I announced to a group of friends that I would like to have a crow feather. Soon I was presented with a box full of feathers of all descriptions! This is the third of my feather series.

Materials & Techniques: Silk, commercial cottons, cheesecloth, tulle, silk and decorative threads. Acrylic paints. Raw-edge applique. Painting. Free-motion machine quilting.
