Artist Statement: I thought it was interesting that the final piece reminded me of an exploration because the piece began by exploring different fabrics and techniques.

Materials & Techniques: Silk dupioni, cotton, decorator fabric, beads, thread, watercolor pastels, fabric paint. Hand beading, machine quilting, thread paitning, satin stitch applique.
