Artist Statement: Origami cranes are a frequent motif of mine.  Here they represent the Chakras that lie along the spinal path through which subtle energy flows up and out the crown Chakra at the top of the head.

Materials & Techniques: Raw silk, cottons, metallic thread. Applique, machine quilted.
