Artist Statement: The collared lizard comes from the Southwest United States and can reach a foot in length. It can run on its hind legs and is a relatively fast sprinter.

Materials & Techniques: Fabrics hand-dyed by the artist, machine collaged, pieced and quilted, hand appliqued.
