Artists' Statement: Two sisters collaborated on this quilt: Barb designed the small puzzle pieces with the interconnecting lines, and passed two of the pieces to Bonny to complete independently. They then worked together on the final construction and design decisions.

Materials & Techniques: Commercial cottons, cotton thread, and pearl cotton; machine stitched. The small puzzle pieces are appliqued; the quilt backing is a whole cloth quilt, quilted to resemble an assembled jigsaw puzzle.
