Artist's Statement: In the future, increasing global warming will further change the frequency and power of wild fires. But as destructive they run thru valleys and forests, the heat, glow and flying ember also carries fascination and beauty.

Materials and Techniques: Machine pieced with hand-dyed and one comercial 100% cotton, facing applied on cut-outs. Burmese- and Dupioni silk, gold netting quilted in seperate layers, silk thread and copper metallic used for quilting the top layer.
