Artist Statement: These four small quilts are the most recent pieces in a series that was inspired by the fabrics of Yoshiko Jinzenji. In this set of four small quilts, I subdivided a previous quilt design (Sushi) into its four quadrants and made each a balanced composition. The frames in matching hues complement and complete each design.

Materials & Techniques: Commercial and hand dyed fabrics. Machine piecing, applique, and quilting. The quilts are matted and framed in metal frames.
