Artist Statement: Depth is the fourth quilt in my series that was inspired by Japanese fabric designer and quilter Yoshiki Jinzenji. In this composition I created a sense of depth by varying the scale of the circular elements and the width of the ribbons that weave across its surface.

Materials & Techniques: Commercial and hand dyed fabrics. Machine pieced, appliqued and quilted.
